What is the £1,000 Challenge?

We are looking to raise £500k this year to “Crack The Code”. We are aiming to sequence the brain tumour DNA genome in 2011 but we need your help.

We are looking for 500 very special people, community groups, businesses, schools, families, groups of friends.. (the list goes on). We call them the £1000 challengers - and you could be one of them. If you fancy the challenge of raising £1000 towards this goal, then please just let us know.

The beauty of this event is that you can raise the money how you like. What is your passion? Running, quizzing, selling, dancing, baking or facing your biggest fear?? You can literally do anything you want so long as it helps you towards your goal of raising £1,000. You can take all year to raise the money, however you want to and we will help you do it every step of the way. 

Take a look at some of our past challengers to gain some inspiration. We have already raised over £40,000 from this scheme and it has only just got going!

The process is made easy for you with information and support offered to all challengers. We will aid you every step of the way so that nothing can get in the way of you raising your money.
